Oven roasted broccolis

Serves up to 4

Main Ingredients: 3 branches of broccolis

Broccoli marinade: 1/2 cup olive oil, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp salt, 1tsp garlic powder

Sauce: 4 tbsp mayo, 1 tbsp heavy creme, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1tsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1/4 tsp smoked paprika powder

Clean broccolis with running water.

Cut them into desired pieces. Please consider that these will shrink little bit during baking process.

In a large bowl, put all marinade ingredients.

Put broccolis into the bowl and coat evenly.

Spread on baking pan and try not to over crowd. Bake at 375F about 30-40 minuets or until the broccoli gets dark and crispy.

Throw in all ingredients for sauce into a bowl.

Mix it well and set aside.

If you have time, let it cool for 10 minuets and bake broil it on high for 5 minuets for crispier broccolis.

Brush the sauce on a plate

I tried to form broccolis into broccoli bunch.

Garnish it with candied cashew nuts and fresh grounded black peppers.

There is a restaurant in Carlsbad area, Campfire, have this wonderful dish that I never thought it could be so delicious!

I thought I had to try this at home, hence I did it. I cannot say this is the perfect version among many recipes I tried, yet this is the closest I can get to the original. The original recipe was made with chermoula, however, I made up with a simpler version of my own.

These broccolis are tender, crispy, tangy, sweet, and has little kick of spices.

They better served warm and immediately.
